And the fact that Jeep won't even speak to me about that upsets me. I refuse to be charged to fix something I didn't break. But darn it I want my $100 back and I'm not giving up on that. At this point I will probably trade the Jeep in and start over hoping the next one doesn't have these problems. Sometimes the system simply hangs up when I enter the extension number I've been given, others I get to leave a voice mail but rarely receive a call back. I can't reach them to speak to them when I call. I am told by a rep they will call me by a certain date and then they don't. Update from : So after getting a case # from Chrysler customer care I am still unsatisfied. And now I have to pay to replace your errors? Unhappy customer! Jeep the radio you have just plain SUCKS. I love everything about my Jeep-except for my radio. Um if it worked going into the service and quit after your updates, why am I paying?!! And for a radio that I have had problems with from day one. They called Chrysler and they ok'd a radio replacement (again) but this time they want to charge me for it. I've found no rhyme to reason to when it stops working. I've had it back to the dealer that did the updates twice and they were finally able to reproduce it. Usually upon reboot it will work for a short time where the problems start again. Sometimes the radio simply won't load at all and it is silent. When this happens phone won't connect and I can't adjust heating/cooling. I can't change songs on my phone or move between phone and radio. I will suddenly not be able to change channels either by touch screen or steering controls. The radio was working going in, but upon picking it up the system will freeze. I took my Grand Cherokee in to have an issue with the brakes fixed (they failed btw which was not fun) and several updates were done to various systems. This time however they want to charge me. Radio has sporadicaly had issues ever since but they have covered under warranty-since they've never quite fixed the problem. They had a recall on numerous Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge models. Sirius wouldn't play and phone couldn't connect. I have a 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland edition.
